These suggestions are a reflection of my own creations (choices and explorations made in consciousness) and are not necessarily true for anyone else. The way in which the sections, sub sections and individual items of the web site are arranged is intended to provide an effective and efficient access to individual empowerment. However, if one particular subject seems, at any time to be of aesthetic value to you, then that subject should take precedence. It is the ideas that you find most attractive that are the most likely to be of most related to your own life experience and therefore to be of most value to you. In other words, affinity (either positive love or negative hate) is the most powerful indicator as to which items are likely to be of most spiritual value to you.
Each of the sections, sub sections and individual items of this web site, starting with Self Assessment and working through to Definitions, are intended to support the energies of the seven chakras. Some items are more applicable to the lower chakras and others to the higher chakras. The intended overall result is alignment and balancing between all chakras, which is another way of describing life mastery.
Our bodies provide a physical / spiritual communications system that helps us to align the very different spiritual energies of the chakras. It is the alignment of (1) the instinctual, physical needs, earth archetype chakra at the coccyx, (2) the sexual, security needs, water archetype chakra at the genitals, and the (3) the social, relationships, fire archetype chakra at the belly that establishes the possibility for (4) the heart, self esteem, air archetype chakra (including contemplation and emotion), (5) the throat, communications and inspiration chakra, (6) the brow, third eye, understanding, and creativity chakra and (7) the head, intellectualising and soul completion chakra to also fall into alignment.
From this increasingly aligned set of abstract but experientially real chakra energies evolves integrated “aware-will-consciousness”, which is the same as integrated spiritual / physical power or soul. The heart chakra is the link between the lower and higher chakras.
This sort of defined evolution, including its implementation in my day to day life, is my objective when I talk about Life Mastery. The Christians call it salvation. Psychologists call it personal transformation.
By familiarising ourselves with the differences between our expedient belief system illusions, our partial, intellectually real, but still mostly illusory lives and the experientially real and proven aspects of ourselves we can rise above the artificial mask of ego personality and get ever more close to the experientially real qualities of trust (c.f. ethics) and experientially real love (c.f. aesthetics) that are the highest motivating principles behind all human beings. (apart, that is, from manifesting order and chaos, which are the highest products in consciousness, immediately out of the tao)
Affinity (a derivative from the higher level of aesthetics) relates to the human longing for oneness and starts at the root chakra, where it tends to reactively vary between obsessive love and obsessive hate, while trust (a derivative from ethics which is finalised at the 7th chakra) satisfies that longing. At the 7th chakra the reactive love and hate have transformed into unconditional being-ness. We become self created “aware-will-consciousness” (an integrated soul), integrated additionally within the Universal One-ness.
The abstract, but circumstantially experienced Creator of The Cosmos, when compared with the abstract but also circumstantially experienced soul (aware-will-consciousness)” of a human being reflects the universally recognised experiential reality of “as below, so above”. i.e., the three most obviously significant aspects of The Creator correspond with the three most obviously significant aspects in every human being.
In the consciousness of a human being, the attribute of life mastery or godlikeness may be described as a synergy of (1) the ability to be (effortless awareness), (2) the power of will and (3) the knowledge (full consciousness) of all and everything relating to the ever expanding existence of that particular human being.
In the consciousness of The Creator, these same three qualities correspond with a synergy of (1) Omnipresence (infinite effortless Awareness), (2) Omnipotence (infinite power of will) and (3) Omniscience (infinite knowledge of all and everything relating to The Creator’s own ever expanding existence.
In other words, everything abstract and concrete is consciously created by The Creator as a Cosmic Unity and is subsequently created in a similar manner, either contemplatively or intellectually by ourselves. Each creator is limited to their own all inclusive and self created “contemplated abstract spiritual” and “intellectually constructed physical” universe, which synergy includes their abstract contemplated and intellectually constructed versions of all other universes, but not the actual creation of those other universes.
The generally accepted OPPOSITE to the concept of “abstract”, as referred to in this article is “concrete”. All of the definitions of abstract apply to the concepts of both “All That Is” and “All That Isn’t”. “All That Is” and “All That Isn’t” form a unified pair that constitutes Unity. It is also suggested that when combined, “All That Is” and “All That Isn’t” ADDITIONALLY form BOTH the ultimate nothingness (The void) AND the ultimate everything.
How do the eternally abstract concepts, plus the synthetic constructions of which belief systems are constructed, plus the concrete actualities of physicality align with each other? Often they don’t but we can get them to do so.
Within each human being, and maybe within all living creatures, the following nine abstract components provide a continually operating, efficient and very effective DYNAMIC BELIEF SYSTEM that links the spiritual abstract with the physical concrete. Each belief system can be said to comprise a family of abstract concepts. Why is it that abstract concepts such as these are so omnipotent (all powerful) in their dominion over the concrete manifestations of the physical universe in which we live?
(1) Beliefs
(2) Attitudes
(3) Perceptions (ambiguously mis-labelled by some as heart or emotion)
(4) Conceptions (ambiguously mis-labelled by some as head or intellect)
(5) Options (ambiguously mis-labelled by some as choices)
(6) Decisions (actual choosing from options)
(7) Requirements (a complete network of needs, wants and preferences)
(8) Imaginations
(9) Expectations.
Each of the abovementioned abstract concepts can also be analysed but for the present we will not consider them separately, restricting ourselves to considering their inter relationship.
Interwoven with each dynamically operating nine element belief system are other less dynamic family, group and worldwide belief systems, religions, philosophies and sciences. Mostly they place limitations upon the exquisite individuality that would otherwise be manifested by each otherwise self determined belief system.
We mostly focus on synthetic concepts for the administration, operation and management of our lives. A synthetic concept, for example the concept of a beautiful house, is a contemplative and mental construction made up from the synthetic concepts of protective roof, supportive walls, firm floors, weatherproof paint, etc, an infinitely sub dividable number of which forms the synthetic concept of a beautiful house.
At the physical end of the chain of synthetic concepts that links abstract spiritual concepts to concrete physical concepts, there is the philosophical package of earth, air, fire and water. The scientists divide things slightly differently, referring to these most basic of all physical universe elements as matter, space, energy and time. The scientist’s ideas are also not much more than synthetic concepts because ultimately they are indistinguishable from each other. Matter and energy are considered more solid than space and time. The more they are scientifically analysed, the more obviously indistinguishable and abstract they become.
Each human creates their own heart based emotionally aesthetically contemplative and abstract feminine perceptions and also their own (hopefully balancing) head based intellectually and ethically constructed and concrete masculine belief system conceptions.
Whereas the contemplation of abstract concepts can and does lead to agreement, the construction of synthetic concepts leads invariably to disagreement. Synthetic concepts are valuable in creating the important and valuable quality of self-ness, because each human being needs to be able to create their own version of everything, separating out both their chosen subjects and themselves to produce the intellectual and emotional equivalent of a standalone or pseudo viewpoint, a “personality” mask having control, responsibility and experience over their own emotionally aesthetic contemplative and feminine perceptions and their intellectually ethical constructed and masculine conceptions.
However, such self creation of conceptions (belief systems) tends to make their creators into loners, only ever able to relate to others and to the entire Cosmos in terms of their own self contained, self constructed and standalone belief system.
Abstract perceptions, on the other hand, may be used to join us mentally, emotionally and intellectually together into integrated systems, facilitating the comprehension of how our environment is actually an already up and running perfect system. Very few appear able to analyse abstract concepts in this integrating way, but anyone can actually learn to do it. The result is an ever growing experience of personal, family, group and Cosmic Unity.
The “trained in” ability to analyse abstract concepts, and the use of such analysis to align previous unaligned abstract concepts, synthetic concepts and concrete (i.e. physical) manifestations leads to personal integration and eventual life mastery.
Life mastery is itself an abstract concept, towards which state one may make dramatic progress, even though one very soon realises that absolute life mastery is an absolute impossibility; even though an infinity of it is available for exploration.
The most noticeable thing about abstract concepts is that they have an unimaginable power over both synthetic concepts and concrete manifestations.
Universal principles correspond with a high level of abstract concept. They are generally considered by those who base their lives on synthetic concepts and physical manifestations to be a complete waste of time. But the more that we separate the abstract from the synthetic and the concrete, the more we realise that lives based only upon artificial combinations of synthetic concepts, and even more so lives that are based only upon intellectually interpreted physical manifestations are UNREAL. The analysis and alignment of abstract concepts and physical manifestations into a completely unified Cosmos is the only way for expanding consciousness to go.
Individuality (empowered diversity) is attained through the construction of synthetic concepts that align with physical manifestations. Cosmic Unity (empowered unity) is realised through the analysis (not intellectual construction) of abstract concepts that align with both synthetic concepts and concrete physical manifestations.
All experiential reality comes from the analysis of abstract concepts and the partially effective alignment of these with the intellectual content of synthetic concepts and physical manifestations.
All perception of un reality comes from the failure of abstract and synthetic concepts to fully align with the physical manifestations of All That Is. It is our experience of abstract and synthetic concepts and our experience of the alignment they are able to bring to our personally constructed models of existence that make everything REAL in a dynamic way
